When the filter press finishes filtration, you will turn off the equipment. In order to guarantee normal operation in next time, some follow-up works are necessary.

Firstly, you should make sure that there is no residual filtering medium (wastewater or slurry). Because residual materials will become dry and accumulate in the equipment after several days still standing. These dry materials will block equipment and influence normal start next time. Therefore, if you do not use filter press for a long time, you should thoroughly clean residual materials to prevent it from accumulation and dry.

Secondly, you should keep filter cloth wet, once you adopt it for filtration. During filtering process, liquid can pass through filter cloth, while solid materials will accumulate on the surface of filter cloth. After several filtration, filter cloth may be covered by some slurry. If you leave them for a long time, dry slurry on the surface will influence the filtration effect. You must wash or clean the filter cloth.

Finally, after turning off the equipment, you need to prevent water from entering into hydraulic pressure station.
