1. What should I consider when purchasing filter presses?

• The type of filter press------Different filter presses are suitable for different industries. For example, vehicle-mounted filter press is most suitable for drilling fluid, oil exploration and construction site, and round filter press is suitable for kaolin, ceramics and other viscous materials.
• Thickness of chambers------ The chamber thickness decides the dewatering performance and moisture of filter cakes. You should choose suitable one after testing.
• Chamber filter plates or membrane filter plates------Chamber filter plates is most common. If you have higher requirements on moisture of filter cakes, you can choose membrane filter plates.
• Type of filter pump------The selection of right pump is critical for cost control and filtration performance. We provide ZJE slurry pump, B/G type single screw pump, gear oil pump, QBY pneumatic diaphragm pump and YB piston pump. We will recommend suitable pump according to property of materials.
• Open or closed filtrate discharge------Open filtrate discharge is recommended. Because the damage of filter cloth or filter plates is more easily to be found.
• The choice of filter cloth------Different types of filter cloth has different property. You should consider the features of materials treated before choosing filter cloth.
• Automatic cloth washing system------ It is used for regularly wash filter cloth, so as to improve filter cloth’s working efficiency and prolong service life. It is necessary, when daily handling capacity is large.
