The filter press plate adopts convex cylindrical points design which is different with traditional straight or cross-strip flume. The new design can greatly enlarge valid water diversion area. When filtrate passes through filter cloth, it can flow in any direction. Therefore, this design can greatly improve filtration efficiency by shorten flow path. In addition, the filter plates are made up of polypropylene by melting and molding, which has stronger anti-pressure ability and stable chemical properties.

According to the characteristics of sewage in different industries, different types of filter presses and filter cloths are used. The mud pump sends the sludge into each filter chamber of the filter press through the feed inlet at the rear end of the filter press. These filter chambers are composed of compacted filter plates. The filter cloth installed on the surface of the filter plate will separate the solid matter and liquid in the sludge to achieve the effect of solid-liquid separation. The liquid obtained by filtration, that is, the filtrate can be directly discharged. The solid material forms a filter cake with a low water content in the filter chamber.
