30 m² Membrane Filter Press for Carbon-Containing Wastewater Treatment in New Energy Carbon-Coated Foil Production

Project Background

The project produces carbon-coated foil for new energy applications, which is mainly used in lithium-ion power batteries and energy storage batteries. During production, the customer generates carbon-containing wastewater that requires efficient filter-press treatment to achieve clear filtrate, low filter cake moisture content, stable on-site operation, and convenient operation and maintenance.

In response to the customer’s actual working conditions, we provided a 30 m² membrane filter press and a complete supporting system, mainly used for the filter-press treatment of carbon-containing wastewater.

 

Solution

According to the customer’s on-site conditions and treatment requirements, we configured a complete filter-press treatment system. The on-site equipment includes:

• Transfer pump

• Sludge tank

• Ceramic plunger feed pump

• 30 m² membrane filter press, including reverse blow, corner blow, and diaphragm squeezing functions

• Squeezing pump

• Squeezing water tank

• Transfer pump

• Intermediate water tank

• Aeration tank

• Filter press operating platform, etc.

Among these, the 30 m² membrane filter press serves as the core equipment. Together with the ceramic plunger feed pump, squeezing pump, and squeezing water tank, it enables stable feeding, membrane squeezing, and efficient solid-liquid separation of carbon-containing wastewater. The equipment is equipped with reverse blow, corner blow, and squeezing functions, which help reduce filter cake residue, keep pipelines and filter cloth unobstructed, and further lower the filter cake moisture content.

Operating Results

After the project was put into operation, the entire system ran stably and on-site operation was smooth. After the carbon-containing wastewater was treated by the filter press, the filtrate was clear and the filter cake moisture content was low, achieving the customer’s expected treatment results.

At the same time, the supporting facilities on site, such as the sludge tank, intermediate water tank, aeration tank, and filter press operating platform, made the overall process more complete and easier to operate, maintain, and manage. The customer is highly satisfied with the equipment’s treatment performance, operating condition, and overall supporting solution.
