The filter press is generally composed of a keep plate, a thrust plate, filter plates, the hydraulic cylinder, the main girder, the transmission and other parts. When filter press starts to work, the hydraulic cylinder piston pushes the keep plate to press filter plates, causing the adjacent filter plates to form a filter chamber. When the filter plate is pressed and the pressure reaches a certain level, open the mud pump and send the mud into the filter chamber. Liquid is discharged through the drain after passing through filter cloth, while solid matter is left in the filter chamber to form a filter cake with low water content. When the filter chamber is filled with solid materials, the high-pressure pump can continue to pressurize the mud filter, and complete solid liquid separation in the filter chamber.
