The right method to operate filter press

Before using filter press, you should make sure that equipment are installed and tested rightly.

Preparations before operation

1. You should exam the number and order of filter plates, so as to make sure that they meet technological requirements of filtration.
2. To make sure filter cloths are unbroken and neat.
3. Pipe junction should be exam. Meanwhile, you should check bolts, other fastenings and seal washer.
4. To ensure that plate shifter close to the cylinder. (This point is for automatic filter press).
5. Compress filter plates and filter cloths

First of all, check whether the upper limit pointer of the electric contact pressure gauge on the oil cylinder is adjusted to the pressure protection range (the upper limit pointer pressure is adjusted to within 20MPa, and the maximum is 25MPa.

The lower limit pointer is lower than the upper limit pointer of 3MPa. The limit range of the pointer has been adjusted before leaving the factory. Then close the air switch, press the "press" button, the keep plate begins to press, when the pressure reaches the upper limit of the electric contact pressure gauge, the motor will automatically stop running and enter the automatic pressure preservation state.

1. Automatic pressure keeping

At the set upper limit value (pressure class is divided into: 0.7MPa, 1MPa, 1.6MPa, 2.0MPa according to different models). Under the pressure of feed pump, the filter slurry passes through the filter medium (press cloth). When the pressure of the cylinder reaches the lower limit of the pressure gauge at the electric contact point, the oil pump of the hydraulic station will automatically replenish pressure.

1. The filter plates are loosened

When the stop button is pressed, the pressure indicator will go out, and the automatic pressure holding state will be released. Press the "release" button, the piston will return and the filter plate will be released. The piston back in place, the return journey is over.
