Hydraulic chamber filter press is the ideal tool for solid liquid separation in wastewater treatment. If you want to know about that how hydraulic chamber filter press efficiently deal with wastewater, you must know the working process.
The working process of hydraulic chamber filter press
- The hydraulic system will drive keep plate to press filter plates, by which multiple cavities will formed between each two filter plates.
- Slurry will be pumped into filter press via feed hole (usually in the center of the filter plate). With the help of pump pressure, the slurry will be distributed evenly in each cavity. Solid materials will accumulated in the cavity and form a layer on the cloths. The layer will traps fine particles and finally become a filter cake.
- The filtrate will flow out from corner ports of filter plates. By valves on the filter press, the filtrate will leave filter plates and enter the following steps.
- When cavities in filter press are full and no liquid discharge. The fill cycle is finished.
- The final step is to empty the filter press. When the cycle is complete, the press will be opened. Then you can pull the filter plates, and the filter cakes will drop down to cake hopper.
This is the complete filtration process. The solid materials separated is in form of cakes, which is convenient for transportation and treatment. If you want to know more information about BBNEP hydraulic filter press, you can leave me a message.
