XMZGZF80/1000UB Membrane Filter Press Assists Power Plant Wastewater Treatment
Power plant wastewater comes from a wide range of sources, typically including desulfurization wastewater, coal-containing wastewater, ash-flushing and slag-flushing water, and chemical water treatment wastewater. It often has characteristics such as high suspended solids content, many fine particles, complex corrosive media, and large fluctuations in water quality and quantity. If not properly treated, it can easily cause equipment corrosion, pipeline blockage, and environmental pollution. Therefore, it is particularly important to select filter press equipment that is corrosion-resistant, highly efficient in dewatering, and stable in operation.

The customer purchased an XMZGZF80/1000UB membrane filter press for power plant wastewater treatment. In view of the strong corrosiveness, fine particles, and high viscosity of power plant wastewater, the equipment is equipped with liquid-receiving tilting plates. The frame is anti-corrosion treated with epoxy resin, and the liquid-contact panels are made of FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic). This can effectively catch dripping liquid and also provide good corrosion resistance, helping to keep the site clean and reduce corrosion of equipment and platforms by corrosive media.
At the same time, the equipment is also equipped with a filter cloth washing device that uses high-pressure water flushing. By regularly cleaning the filter cloth, residual matter on the surface of the filter cloth can be removed in time, the permeability of the filter cloth can be restored, and the risk of clogging can be reduced, thereby ensuring filtration efficiency and operational stability. Through membrane squeezing, the membrane filter press can further reduce the moisture content of the filter cake and improve the wastewater treatment effect.

After the equipment arrived at the site, the company sent dedicated personnel to the customer's site for installation and commissioning, and provided guidance on equipment operation and key operating points. In later operation, the equipment ran smoothly, the dewatering effect was stable, and the customer was very satisfied. The successful application of this project provides a reliable and durable filter press solution for power plant wastewater treatment.
