The sewage is pumped into the filter chamber through the feed hole at the rear end of the filter press. According to the previously set filter cloth pore size, larger solid particles will remain in the filter chamber and gradually accumulate to form a filter cake. The filtrate is smoothly discharged through the filter cloth and out of the equipment. After the filter press is completed, the feed pump is turned off, and high-pressure gas or liquid is introduced into the diaphragm plate to perform "'secondary press'" on the filter cake. There is no final "secondary press" for plate and frame filter presses and chamber filter presses.
