BBNEP filter press consists of rack part, filtration part, hydraulic part and electric control part. The main girder is made up of Q345 middle plate by carbon-dioxide arc welding. After being treated by jet stream peening machine, the rust and oxide layer will be removed. In addition, the surface of middle plate appears many small holes, which can improve adhesive force of oil paint and prevent paint from peeling off in the following operation process. The filter machine plates are made up of molded polypropylene, which have higher purity and better crushing resistance.

The filter press uses a pressure pump to send mud into the closed chambers formed between the two adjacent filter plates. The pressure difference formed on both sides of the filter cloth makes the filter flow smoothly through the filter cloth and flows along the filter plate to the outlet. Because of larger diameters, solid materials gradually accumulate in the filter chamber and form a filter cake, so as to achieve the effect of solid liquid separation. Under the combined effect of pump pressure and equipment pressure, the water content of the filter cake can be reduced to 40%. Compared with a large amount of sludge, filter cake is easier to handle and transport.
